I recently got a new BlackBerry desktop software upgrade ver 6.0. After it was installed, I'm trying to sync with my Windows contacts. When I go to configure settings, 2 things happen:

1) a box saying BlackBerry Data Synchronization pops up saying Determining the root configuration name for main system

2) Before it does anything, another box pops up saying Unknown error reported and that's all it will let me do...Nothing.

Can you help with this? I have read other post about it and still can't find a fix. I'm too new to know my way around the phone good so go easy on me.

Got it. Just uninstalled everything and reinstalled DM 6.0 only and it works. Now if I could figure out how to sync Windows Contacts why it is not in my address book sync list??????
