I did get desktop manager loaded to my computer. I did a back up, and store. I went to look at what it saved and it says it is a IPD file. Please explain? And do I need to get another program for this. Or am I just plain dumb?? I know I am not a wiz when it comes to computers and cell phones.It has a W in the middle of document. I think this is word, correct?

The IPD file is the manner in which DM outputs backups. You don't
need another program to access DM will recognize. If you are
looking for a program to read the contents try using
ABC Amber Converter
