I exported my Blackberry contacts data to a CSV file via the ASCII import/export tool. I wanted to audit my contact information. Once I made my changes in the .csv i used the desktop manager to transfer the new data to my blackberry but none of the changes were made to my phone.
The BDM processes all completed without errors but it doesn't look like any of the changes I made in the .csv made it to my phone. I have no problem syncing my media files or calendar data.
Can someone please help? again, i get no error messages but the data does not seem to be transferring.
Been trolling this site for the last 2 years. This is the first time I've ever needed to post a question. Hope you guys can help me out.
You have to make sure you don't change any of the field headers. Everything else you can edit as you like. If you change the headers your BB won't like you any more. Export a new .csv and try again.
