I have a flashed verizon blackberry storm. Its giving me an error saying that I can't connect to bb desktop software because i wante to backup my contacts. I could however connect to BBSAK so i'm sure its not the hardware/software. By the way the phone with the contacts can't turn on its giving me an error.

If the phone won't power up properly, it is not reasonable to expect it to connect to Desktop Manager.
