I just got a new phone, went to back it up and got the "new version of BB Desktop" message, so upgraded (6.0.0.40). I pluged in my 9630 (os 5) and started syncing music, importing my pictures and videos, etc. Everything works fine until I try to click on the "Applications" menu item in BB Desktop. It searches for a while, then gives the error "There was a problem communicating with the device". Backing up also does not work, it says "there was an error backing up". Any ideas?
Nevermind, I kept looking on here and deleting cache and all of that. Finally found that it was a combination of cleaning the cach and restarting the device AND restrting the destop manager software. It won't work until the software clears its own cache
