Hi Everybody,

I have a bb curve 8900 v 4.6.1.250 [platform 4.2.0.113] device. What I want to do is use bb desktop manager to sync my contacts, notes, task from ms outlook 2003 on my windows xp sp3 pc. Was using a winmo device earlier.

I am not on contract with any carrier and email sync is not required for now.

Which version bb desktop manager should I used with my bb curve device ?

New to bb and have no clue. Tq for any help

are you on bes? if so your admin may have wireless sync in which case DM version wont really make a difference

no remipmc, i'm not on bb exchange server.

then pretty much any recent update of DM should work

thks remipmc, i've download usb/modem drivers_dm5.0b28 and success to transfer some media files from pc to my bb. will do the DM 2morow.

will use the dm5.0.0 b28 version, any problem with this version? wanna sync contacts, calender, tasks and notes from my ms outlook.

any comment will b appreciated. thks.

i never had any issues with 5.0, although you can get the latest 5.0.1.16 and have the ability to use your 8900 as an ip modem.
