Write permissions for a digital copy from a DVD to a Curve9300?

Hi all,

I searched and didn't see what I was looking for unless I missed it.

I got a DVD that came with a digital copy. I transferred from the DVD to my laptop and today I tried syncing it to my Curve 9300. It syncs, but when I try to watch it on my BB, I get a message comes up saying:

"You need rights for this content. Please sync with your computer or re-download it. Protected content copied from another device should be deleted."

I'm baffled. Anyone know what I need to do to be able to watch it on my phone? I can't transfer it again because I can only use the code once.
