Is desktop software and desktop manager the same thing? I can only find places to download Desktop software. A while ago I had desktop manager and it seemed to be more in depth than the desktop software I am currently using. Can someone clear this up for me?

They are the same.

Same thing. The newest version (6) is terrific. With it encrypted files can be transferred back and forth between device and pc quickly and conveniently.
