weird spacing, backslash in contact fields

DM seems to be messing with my contacts each time I sync Outlook to my Torch. The problem shows up in two different ways:

1) in contact fields that have a comma, followed by a space (like as in Company, Inc. or 123 Street, Suite 1) DM adds one or more back slashes \\\\ before the comma.

2) the letter spacing is all screwed up. Like this: Ne w Y o r k, U ni te d St a te s o f A me r i c a.

Any ideas what on earth would cause this to happen? I fix them in Outlook, only to have them right back that way upon the next sync. And it seems that another backslash gets added each time, making a long string of them in some addresses. It's VERY annoying!

Having same problem even after deleting all contacts from Torch and then resyncing.
Any help for us?
