Update only one app in Application Summary

This seems like it would be a common question but I couldn't find it answered before.

I see thru Desktop Manager that there is an update for Blackberry Protect (oddly enough, App World says it is not available for my device yet there it is and works fine). Anyway, it, along with several other apps, appear in the DM Application Summary for updating. However, I do not want to update the other apps. If I deselect them from the list above, the Pending Action changes to Remove. I don't want to remove the other apps, I just don't want to update them. See the attached photo. Can't I just select which ones to leave alone (NO action) and which ones to update? Thanks
