Default Locating OS file on pc for shrinker?

I have recently upgraded to OS 6 from OS 5 for my Bold 9700 and as memory is low would like to possibly shrink the OS for more space.

I am not sure how the Desktop manager works though as when I open Bb Boss OS shrinkler it says there is no Loader Files.

How does Desktop Manager work when changing the OS? Does it store the files on PC or is it downloaded externally? Its just that when I connect the BB the manager shows all previously installed OS's and I don't know where to look for them to go for shrinking.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,
Chris

Default

You have to download the OS and install it to your computer ; and you have to point BB Boss to the folder that the OS is located in.
