Error syncing 990 with DM7

I tried DM7 with my Bold 9700 and just couldn't get it to work. I just upgraded to the 9900 and thought I would try it with DM7.

Still having a problem syncing and was wondering if anyone else is having the same problem and if there's a fix.

DM7 will read both my device and Outlook but then it just says "Preparing sync preview" and nothing happens.

I can't even cancel it. I have to do a Ctrl-Alt-Del.

Windows 7 Professional 64bit
Outlook 2010 Professional 32bit

I have the same issue with my 9810.
I'm on win 7, outlook 2007 and ATT.

I was actually speaking with RIM tech support on another issue the other day and asked them when the official version of DM7 will be released and they said if not this week (last day today) then after the 1st of the year.

Hopefully we will see it right after the new year.

did anyone find a solution? mine is stuck on "Preparing sync preview" also. There is no official DM7 yet either.

Same here, just updated official DM7 16-2-12, and sync hangs.., and all my contact tripled copied.. (may be because the email backup), but it did hang.. I just have to pull the plug
