DTM Changes PC Monitor Screen Resolution

I can't find solution to this problem in any forum.

Running BB Torch 9800 v6.0.0.576, Win XP (SP 3), BB DTM v6.1.0.35.

Initial screen resolution on XP - 1360/768.

Start with BB 9800 not connected to Laptop via USB.

1. Load BB DTM -
Screen resolution laptop immediately changes to 640/480.
Control Panel > Display Properties > Settings > 640/480 reset to 1360/768 > Apply.

2. Connect BB 9800
Screen resolution laptop immediately changes to 640/480.
Control Panel > Display Properties > Settings > 640/480 reset to 1360/768 > Apply.

3. DTM > Applications
Screen resolution laptop immediately changes to 640/480.
Control Panel > Display Properties > Settings > 640/480 reset to 1360/768 > Apply.

4. ... Any change in DTM while connected w/ USB -----

Screen resolution laptop immediately changes to 640/480.
Control Panel > Display Properties > Settings > 640/480 reset to 1360/768 > Apply.

This same issue occurs with other verions of BB DTM.

What's the fix?

The fix:

Rt click BB shortcut on Desktop > Properties > Compatibility > Uncheck box for "Run in 640x480 ......" > Apply.
