DM will not back up 9650

So , I am at my wits end with my DM . I have tried everything I can, including reinstalling the DM 3 times . To no avail , it see's my 9650, but keeps giving me a " Problem or error backing up device" It does the same thing with my Tour. It took me 3 hours just to get it to update the OS on the 9650 the other day. It is totally usless to me , and I hate the idea of not being able to back up the phone. PLEASE , any help would be greatly appreciated..!

What OS version are you running on your BlackBerry? What DM version are you running? What Windows version are you running on your PC? You are using a PC and not a Mac? Are you getting any other error messages? Is any specific database mentioned?

My appologies to be vague in the last post . I should of listed that I am running a PC , Windows 7 Pro , and the latest version of DM 6.1. My OS is 6.0.0.6000.

Since I'm running DM 6 and Vista on a PC successfully, I can only suppose the incompatibility might be with Windows 7.
