 DM says I'm not connected when I am...
HELP! I am trying to connect a BB 9630 to an older version of Desktop Manager (4.7) to try and extract some pictures from the device memory (moved them there to get rid of .rem encryption). The device is connected with the USB cable. I know the cable is working because the device goes to the clock when I plug it in, it is charging and I can see the device in My Computer. However, DM is telling me there is no device connected. I thought it might be because it’s a newer device going into an older version of DM, however, I plugged in an old 8330 I have lying around and that’s doing the same thing. Its clearly connected, but DM says otherwise. This is my third install today of DM, so I’m not sure what else to try.
Any help or advice would be most appreciated. Thanks!
