 DM not installing properly - Rim.Desktop.HttpServerSetup has encountered a problem an
Hello - am newbie on this forum. Just had a new 9860 replacement and need to upload my details from old phone to new - no issue with that, but am getting this as I install the DM on my windows 7 64 bit machine. Had a look around the net - and its a known issues from RIM - but nothing on their site.
'Rim.Desktop.HttpServerSetup has encountered a problem and needs to close '. This displays at the end of the install and then says it has successfully install. Click on the link - and it says that DM has stopped working and is looking for a solution. NOthing! I really need to sort this out ASAP - any idea guys? IS there an alternative way of doing what I need to do?
PS - Have tried installing as an admin - same result.
If anyone could help - that would be great!
