Default DM 6.0.2.44 Causing Blue screen.

I have a brand new HP EliteBook 8560p with SP3 with latest updates patches. There is no AntiVirus installed as this is a vanilla installation.

When I Install DM 6.0.2.44 there does not seem to be any problems, once I reboot, I get a blue screen.

The main error is MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS.

After a power down reboot, I get "The System has recovered from a serious error."

I've cleared the event log so I could see the error. and there is a red entry in the System Events.

"Event ID 1003" I went to Microsoft's website and its a generic error.

Anyone else seen this?

I've found a work around and sharing this incase, someone else has the same issue.

So after the installation of the Desktop Manager, what I have to do is, boot Windows XP in SafeMode and uninstall all USB related components from Device Manager.

After rebooting into normal mode, Windows XP will re-detect and replace the USB Drivers that were altered causing the blue screen.

Windows XP and Desktop Manger will be happy again.
