Desktop software doesn't start

All,

Since the new update from BB desktop software I have been unable to run the programme. I work with the following specs:

- Torch 9800
- Windows 7, sp1
- Desktop Software 6.1

It launches, asks for the PIN for the bb when connected. But then it stays in the taskbar and no window ever turns up. I have uninstalled/re-installed it several times but the same problem remains.

Has anybody else experienced this problem?

I have the same problem with my DM I plug my bb torch and the DM wont say that my device is plug, I have no idea with what is wrong:s
