Desktop Manager Won't Install on Macbook

I can't get desktop manager to install on my macbook. I have run into this issue before and found out that I have to install and earlier version. I had to reformat my macbook and lost the desktop manager. I can't find an earlier version of dl now. Any help? The latest version will not install.

which version are you looking for?
and why not install windows on a virtual machine to alleviate these issue in the future?
