Default is desktop manager carrier specific?

Hello everyone, quick question about blackberry desktop manager. is it carrier specific? why I'm asking is because i currently use it with my t-mobile account and I'm thinking about switching to sprint, will i be able to still use the desktop manager i already have, or will i have to download a version from the sprint website if i do switch? Thanks in advance...

i dont think it is carrier specific but the installed os or at least when you reinstall your device os.

often your device has a id which says from which carrier it was bought.

alt shift and h and you can check that id if you want. there a lists to check in the web.

if you want to install a newer os just delete the vendor.xml etc. here a lot of threads about it - of course only when you need to do

Yea, it just recognizes your device and the carrier you happen to be on.
