Default Can't Set Up Outlook 2010 and Desktop

What am I doing wrong?

I just downloaded a trial version of Microsoft Office 2010 on my new HP laptop. I have a Blackberry 9650 running version 6 and Desktop 6 on the laptop.

When I tried to set up the organizer so that I synch, I get the message "The Operation Terminated Unexpectedly" no matter what I try.

Any idea what I am doing wrong? Or, have done wrong?

Thanks,

I'm using Office 2010, a bold on 5.975 (was on OS6 for a month but went back), DM6 and Windows 7 without any trouble. I suspect that maybe the office trial version might not allow that kind of interaction since I'm not sure what else it might be. Also might confirm if you're using 32 or 64 bit version since I seem to recall seeing posts and questions about the 64 not being supported (but I can't remember the details and I might be mistaken).

Post Outlook 2010 64 bit Supported

Yep your wrong,

Outlook 2010 64 bit is supported. I have Windows 7 Utlimate 64 and Office 2010 64 bit so it works with the latest DM Software.

It could mean your office is on trial mode or try updating windows and office using windows update.

Sorry I could not help that much. Try reinstallling it

It works on the 64 bit versions. I would try un-installing Desktop Manager and re-installing the most current version. It may have to "see" your Office installation in order to configure properly.

Default It works!

Thank you for all of your replies.

I purchased a product key and now have the registered version of Outlook 2010. I hooked up my 9650, set everything up, and it synced perfectly the very first try.

I'm guessing the trial version does not like syncing.

Thanks again for all your help
