Can't restore BBM contact list!!!

Okay, I updated and then downgraded my BBM after an OS install and then all my contacts were gone. I tried to restore using email (because I had set up remote email backup) but it said that my email was not registered with the system. AHHH! So I decided to try restoring with Desktop Manager. This didn't work on both my Mac and P.C Desktop Manager. Help!!!!!


Updated: Finally got them restored after numerous false starts.

care to share how you did it?
i couldnt restore my back up after upgrade and downgraded my OS
says my email is not linked with blackberry messenger account but i know i did back up my contact list from email
