    A new research paper details the efforts of a team at Stanford University who are looking to create a lithium battery that, if successful, could lead to much longer battery life for smartphones and tablets, but it could take several years for that research to yield practical products.

    I already prolonge the battery life by turning into Airplane mode when absolutely not needing the radios... During a meeting, while driving for 2 hours or more... at work, during a longer task... 19 hours are nothing! My Bold lasts 5 days at least! My Q10 about 23h... But when surfing, youtube, or even Crackberry posting, the Q suffers... That's why I simply swap.
