The list of companies signed on for BES10 continues to grow, this time BlackBerry has announced the addition of G4S Argentina. With over 4,500 employees in Argentina, G4S has recently implemented their own bring your own device (BYOD) strategy and to assist with that they've decided to upgrade to BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 (BES10) as their enterprise mobility management (EMM) solution.
"BlackBerry is our main mobile communications provider for our operations outside of our Buenos Aires Headquarters," said Rafael Acosta, IT Manager at G4S Argentina. "Our dynamic workforce demands real-time mobility, as well as efficiency, in communications. Through BES10, we are looking to ensure that data remains secure by separating users' corporate data from their personal data. In addition, it will allow our operations to be more mobile and will simplify enterprise mobility management."
"By helping G4S facilitate a BYOD platform, we're able to ensure they have the most secure enterprise mobility solution, the easiest integration with existing IT Systems as well as great variety of enterprise applications." said Joao Stricker, Regional Director for the Southern Cone and Brazil, at BlackBerry.
