Default No 3G on unlocked Cincinnati Bell BB (now on ATT)

I've just switched my service from Cincinnati Bell to my dad's small business plan on AT&T and in order to do so I unlocked my Bold. Now I'm not receiving any 3G service on the AT&T network. Is there anything I can do to remedy this problem? I'd really rather not have to shell out for an AT&T-locked device.

Nope, can't get AT&T 3G on a Cincinnati Bell phone. Cincy Bell phones have the 1700/2100 MHz 3G frequencies, AT&T network is 850/1900 MHz.

You can always sell your device to a T-Mobile user. T-Mobile also uses the same 3G bands as Cincinnati Bell, so an unlocked Cincinnati Bell device will get 3G on T-Mobile.

Agreed with everyone. You will only get EDGE 2G.
