HTC Desire vs. BB Tour

I just made a year with my BB Tour and was considering upgrading (Total about $200 with trading in my BB) for the Desire. Anybody have any suggestions or insights about upgrading to the Desire vs. the Tour? And by the way I hate the new device replacement fees.

Any suggestions will definitely help out.

Also, if there is a better phone coming out in the next couple of months that would be a good insight too! Thanks for the help!

Wait for the Galaxy S phone they are supposed to be releasing it in November last I heard. From what I have read on Android forums this should blow out any Android phone on Cell South. I have a Hero and I am not very pleased with it. I am debating on upgrading to a blackberry or seeing how this Galaxy S pans out.

Thanks for the reply. I few co-workers have the Desire and it looks awesome. However, I think I am going to wait a few weeks to see if cell south will come out with the Samsung. I just know I am ready to get rid of my bb tour.

This is the name of the new Galaxy S phone that is coming to CS. It should drop in the next few weeks and is going (according to some) blow everything else away! I have played with the Desire, my wife has a HERO and I have a tour. I am waiting to get the showcase in my hands and if all the materials are correct, then I intend to trade in the Tour. If it weren't for waiting on the Showcase, I would already have the Desire.

Is the Showcase something different? The reason I ask is that CS has Samsung Galaxy S all over there site. The Samsung Galaxy S™ - Powered by Android

Nope, that is the name of the Cell South model of the Samsung Galaxy S series. Verizon, At&t, T-mobile, Sprint, and all the carriers have some form of a Galaxy S just with their own names.
