I was alerted that a store manager is telling people that Cellular South will not be selling Blackberry devices this time next year. That's an outright LIE. THE TRUTH IS THAT THEY WILL BE RELEASING FAR MORE ANDROID DEVICES THAN BLACKBERRY, BUT THEY ARE NOT GOING TO STOP SELLING THEM INCLUDING FUTURE DEVICES.

Now, my personal $.10 is that the Playbook will be such a success on the enterprise level that Cellular South will revisit this decision to push Android more since they own the state contract for federal and state agencies.

Cellular South did me dirty and I don't believe anything they say anymore as a result. So you're probably right about that store manager lying.

I see you're in Shaw. Cleveland is where that manager I mentioned was. He's no longer at that store.

Unfortunately, some of their employees that interact with customers are not honest and create a bad image for the company. In the perfect world, a few of the amazingly great people in Ridgeland would disguise themselves as customers and walk into the store (any store) just ONE time and see things from our side. It won't be pretty.
