Default Cellular South WE WANT NEW BERRIES!!

I just found out that Verison is a CDMA NETWORK.......the Storm is coming out or has come out on Verison network.......

If we stir up enough fuss at the cellularsouth website MAYBE we can get the Storm at cell south. What could it hurt to get everyone who would want one to email c. south and ask for them to try the BlackBerry Storm.
It's got both key layouts the full and half qwerty I wish it had a keyboard and trackball for backup....But I like the looks and the more memory factor. Then the huge screen the whole phone is a screen.

Who wants to try and see what happens. They can't say it not compatible with their network this time it's CDMA and c south is CDMA last I checked that meant compatable right?

Last friday I went into a CS store with the intent to buy a curve off contract. First thing I asked was what new blackberries are you planning to start offering now that you have the curve. The sales guy got all excited to tell me about the new HTC phone they'll be getting soon. I cut him off stating that I am only interested in blackberries. He said that there was no word of any planned BB after the curve.

With that in mind I went ahead and bought a curve off contract. Maybe by the time my upgrade comes around we'll see the upgrade for the curve on CS.

I think the storm is a great device but I just don't think it would work for me. But if getting them to bring on the storm starts the ball rolling for more new BBs I'm all for it.

Well when I first started looking at BB because my upgrade was getting close the sales rep had told me hold off on the pearl because the curve would be out in a month I looked the curve over but I like predictive text and the pearl sure type was close enough. My old moto 385 fell out of my pocket and the screen shattered I had about 1.5 months left to upgrade so I got a refreb nokia, well a week later I left the nokia in my pocket and it went in the washing machine, no hope so I hit eBay got a pearl cheap and was a month from upgrade date so now I can upgrade anytime but I'm afraid they will get a better BB as soon as I do or a new one will hit and I won't be due an upgrade for seneral months. I'll hold off and get used BB off eBay until the Bold or Storm or an equal to those hits store inventory.

The word on the street is that Verizon only has a 3 month exclusive on the Storm, so maybe within 6 months we can get lucky and buy a Storm.

I totally feel you, but Verizon has a year jump on the storm so, keep that in mind. I've heard talks of a CDMA bold as well as a CDMA 8900 (8930 for CDMA), so we can only hope.

I heard it was 90 too, until a few days ago. There was an article on Engadget that stated a year and someone on here today said a year....blahhhh

The trackball in the new Tour Blackberry looked different. I hope so, because I am SICK of buying trackballs. Ive heard of the Tour2, Curve2, and Storm2, lets just hope Cellular South will atleast upgrade to one of them.

I heard a few people with the HTC Hero, and they are wanting their blackberries back... LOTS of problems with the HTC.

Really? You guys are just seeing the Tour? My god.

Telus / Verizon already has / had the Storm, Tour, and Storm 2, Rogers / AT&T Has the Curve 2, and the Essex (Tour 2) is just waiting on a release date. (or so it seems). Change carriers, you guys are way behind.

Cellular South does lack in updating phones, but the coverage is too good... In 9 years of being with Cellular South I have only had one problem with them. Kinda hard to break away from that.

Default I agree with all of this

I was with Verizon and had problems with service especially after Katrina. I switched to CS and havent regretted it since. I too wish they could get the better selection of bb but I can wait. I'm not planning on switching again. Besides their bb plans are really great.

Verizon actually roams on Cellular South now so if coverage was an issue before it shouldn't be now.
