Cellular South - OS Upgrades

I upgraded my Curve's OS from 4.3 to 4.5 several months ago. I went back the other day to see if there were any new upgrades I could get. To my surprise, I found that I could no longer upgrade my OS by going through the BB website and using my BB Desktop software. Is this just happening to me or has Cellular South disabled this feature? Is there a workaround for this?

I'm not sure but CS starting putting 4.5 on phones before they are sold, it may have been disabled because of this.

Nahh, they didn't purposely disable. RIM was actually releasing updates via their site and via DM that had not been tested on any carrier's network. Csouth among other carriers requested that they kill the updates. In my opinion, this is legit because I can imagine getting support calls for RF issues when the RF issues are not your network but are a result of you using an OS not tested on the csouth network. Fine line, but I can respect it. Down side is that we don't get updates anymore BUT we can always get the latest update as other carriers release them.
