Has anyone heard wether or not Cell South will be getting Bold 9930?

Nothing solid but that's almost certain. The EOL for the 9650 is already happening with many carriers. CSouth is usually 3 months or so behind the other guy's releases and the 9930 is expected to drop in August and I'm expecting to have it by Christmas OR end of November which is exactly when the 9630 dropped 2 years ago, and the 9650 dropped one year ago.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't CS get the playbook pretty quickly after it's release? I didn't have any interest in it so I didnt pay any attention to when it came out. If CS did, that would lead me to believe(hope) that we'll get the 9930 fairly quickly.

You're correct. RIM listed Cellular South as a retailer out the box. I think it's because the Playbook and the XOOM are sold as hardware only/no contracts required devices. I saw that Sprint or Verizon (can't remember) is expected to get the 9930 around end August/September and we usually come 30 days or so behind them unless otherwise worked out, so November still would make sense. I'll try and see what I can find out from the testing side. Oh and sorry for the delayed reply. The CSouth forums have gotten quiet so I forget to check back.

Well they just listed the 9330 on their site. I seen the software download on Blackberry yesterday for it.

Im not a big fan of full touch screen phones. I really like a physical qwerty key pad. REALLY hoping for 9930.

I went to Verizon and looked at the mock 9930. It is my dream come true. Can't wait for CSouth to get it. I'm gonna love it. From the big M town. Lookin for new Csouth BBM friends. 327C7BC7. V!
