I think its a reaction to the T-Mo "we'll pay your ETF campaign". Most people have learned by now that AT&T and T-MO phones are cross compatible, if not the T-Mo rep will surely educate them on that. AT&T probably implemented that policy in an effort to stop the bleeding.

T-mobile will only pay your etf if you trade-in your device though, so unlocking it won't affect that.

I received the phone, looks great, just like described, but the battery I ordered online hasn't arrived yet, lol, so, it's a nice BlackBerry paperweight at the moment, haha. Anyway, A+ for the seller, good communication and very fast shipping. :-)
