Warning!!! Feedback for CROSS...NEGATIVE!!!
I think this member CROSS is just fishing the marketplace looking for people that are looking for various small items and then offering it to them and scamming them. I asked another member a few weeks ago if he would sell an otterbox that was in a listing...shortly there after I was contact by CROSS and was offered the 9700 otterbox that I was looking for for $21...this was on 6-27 and I have not received it and CROSS has not answere numerous attempts of mine to refund me...his email is bblopez@yahoo.com...i would be very careful in entering a transaction with him...I didn't want to have to do this to him here on CB but I gave him warning that I would and he ignored it....I don't want to see anyone else get scammed here.

Btw...I'm on mobile 99% of time anymore and don't really get a chance to look into people too well before a purchase. I usually just go off gut...doesn't fail me often...on large purchases I do pc searches but have been known to roll the dice on things like a $21 otterbox...anyways, if any of the admin could look into this dirt biscuit and maybe shut him down that would be great...and a big old cyber-rowshambow would be even better!

Chances are you will not get any resolution to your situation. I have almost been scammed at least once. Caught the guy dead in his tracks, posted a not so favorable warning about him and about 6 months later one of the Mods elected to delete my post at the request of the scammer. Exactly how does that work?
Criminal: “Listen Judge, I know I broke into the family’s house and murdered the man of the house after he caught, but hey, it was 9 pm on a holiday, they should have been out of town visiting family or something. Can we just throw this out right now?
Judge: “Sure only because you asked nicely and your intent was not to engage in a criminal act and we really don’t know what would have happened if the victims weren’t home.”
I would like to know what the criteria is for banning people who conduct fraudulent activity. From what I can gather it is not very broad. People get banned for, what I would deem far less crimes like excessive cursing, really now?
On a side note I am trying to get a trade item from another member since April. Did he get banned for scamming me? I will give you 3 chances…but you only need one.You can pay for school, but you can't buy class!

I couldn't agree with Jedi more. I also outed someone months back for attempting to scam me by, and get this, saying its "STANDARD" for him to pay only after receiving the phone and insuring I'm for real. Meanwhile I actually have done business on here without issue and my reputation on here has zero reason to be in question. When he decided to respond to my post warning others by attacking me and call me a liar I WAS TOLD TO DROP IT BY A MOD and was told that "since its not going anywhere just drop it". So we seem to be policing this site ourselves for scam artists and were not even getting backup from the moderators on this? Jedi is right on the mark with this... What is the criteria???

Sucks to hear, hopefully its just a matter of miscommunication. - 05-26-2011, 09:55 AM #12
I have also had dealings with Cross. I sold an item, he paid quickly and we had great communication. Not sure what is going on with him and this transaction...
