WARNING - edavies19
I purchased a used iPhone 4 from edavies19 (Emily Marie Davies; emily davies (edavies19) on Twitter) on January 19th. The money was received by her through PayPal and I was sent a UPS 2nd Day Air tracking number. Here is the CB posting - http://forums.crackberry.com/f14/wts...4-16gb-577091/
She has not logged into CrackBerry since sending the tracking number and there has been no activity with the tracking. She has not responded to numerous PMs and emails.
While I am surprised given her posting history and forum "thanks", this is a warning to future persons who may deal with her. If anyone knows alternative ways of contacting her, please let me know. - 01-25-2011, 06:44 AM #2
better put in a dispute at paypal to try to get your money back is the only thing I can offer at this point

I agree, you can definitely get your money back and move on.
But if you also look she is not a very active member.

Unfortunately I can't put in a dispute since the money was sent as a gift. This is the unfortunate tradeoff for saving money on PayPal fees.
Her profile shows 283 posts, which is certainly not very active, but I also only show 127 posts yet I'm pretty active in the Marketplace (which doesn't count toward posts of course).
I sent her PMs Thursday and Friday and then emailed her directly on Saturday and Sunday. In the last email I said I'd created this thread on CB if I hadn't heard from her on Monday. - 01-25-2011, 01:23 PM #5

Do they show it as having been picked up yet? Perhaps there was a weather delay. What is the status, do they just have it as reported as ready for shipping? Or do they show it actually picked up by UPS, or dropped off?

She logged into the forums a little earlier. I'm sure she's seen my numerous PMs and emails by now. Haven't heard one thing from her.

Still shows that the package has not been received by UPS. By the looks of her Twitter, she is having a problem with American Eagle making a fraudulent charge on her card?.?.

I noticed that as well, but that is from late December. I'm just disappointed that even though she's logged back into CB she has yet to even acknowledge me. If there's a legit reason the phone can't be sent and the money has been used, I'd like to at least hear it.
