    Default Would this work?

We are on a BES. We receive our end user handheld's here at our main facility. Currently we are about to do a fairly large scale refresh.

To expedite deployment, I want to connect the unactivated Blackberries to a PC with the BAS web UI and push the service books to the device via USB cable.

My question is, can my end user's then move SIM card from existing device to new, boot up, acquire connection and should they immediately start wireless sync?

    What are your thoughts?

What you want to do might work (you should test it), but another issue is that, having assigned the new device to the existing user, their existing handset will cease to sync.

As silly_walk says, as soon as the new device is Enterprise Activated, th old device will cease to sync. Swapping SIMs is not a problem. BES does not care about SIM, other than the SIM must be BES enabled.
