Separate Business and Personal Email

Hi,

I got a BB 8310 from my company , onfigured to read/send business emails. I added my personal hotmail account and now I am able to receive emails from it.

I have 2 questions:

1. Currently, emails from both account go to the same place. Is there any way to separate them (send them to diferent inboxes or to add a filter to send my personal email to a different folder)?

2. Every time I send an email from my bb, it goes through by business acount. Is there any way to send email from my bb using my hotmail personal account?

As of now the only way you can have a separate folder for your BES mail is to use a third party app like Empower.

For your second issue I would try to open and reply to the hotmail messages using the hotmail folder icon, not the messages folder icon.

When you compose a new email, you should be able to highlight the "from" email and select your hotmail account. I have 3 email accounts on mine and I use that to be sure I'm sending from the right account each time.

It took me a while to figure out that you can change the "from" address, but you just have to highlight it, then click the one you want it from.
