Default Reliable BES Host?

About a week ago I signed up for hosted BES with a small Canadian firm. Although the firm was very nice it seems quite small and I experienced an outage yesterday. The company'e entire web site was down for a short time, which made me nervous. I like to stay connected via email.

I quickly (perhaps too quickly?) switched to Mailstreet. I switched my DNS and after 12 hours or so for propagation was back up on Mailstreet. I did a search here and saw that Mailstreet had an outage earlier this year that lasted about a half a day. I did the research after I selected Mailstreet - which I know seems backwards.

I would like to know from others here how reliable Mailstreet is. If I am going to switch I'd prefer to do it soon and settle in for the long haul with the most reliable hosted BES provider I can find. Although I do care about price reliability is more important to me.

I welcome hearing about the experience of other BB users with hosted BES.

Thank you

I use mail2web.com BES service, it's $9.99/mo and I haven't experienced any outages yet. I've been using them for almost a year now. They offer a free 30 day trial as well.

Default Reliable Webhost for BES

I use ET Group out of Texas. I have signed up about 20 BES accounts with them for a bunch of our clients and I've never had a problem. We've been with them for abotu 2 years and haven't had an outage yet.

The company is Enlightened Technology if you call speak to Jason or Chantry and you can use my name if you like.

good luck!

Jonathan

I used Mailstreet for around 2 years. When they had their outage last year I left - not because they had an outage - but because they provided no notification for the better part of a day (and the outage as best I remember lasted 2 days).

Mailstreet was also acquired by a bigger company, and in my opinion dealing with their tech support went downhill from the date of acquisition. They seemed to me to be aiming for a higher end market.

I switched my account from mailstreet to exchangemymail.com.

Exchangemymail is cheaper for my plan and lets me allocate disk space between my users (which I was not able to do when I subscribed to mailstreet).

I think Exchangemymail has had one or two outages of under a couple hours since I've been with them. Both times it was easy to reach someone or visit their web site and see the outage status.

I would love to be on a hosted exchange such as exchangemymail, I have heard great things about them. They are highly regarded on BBF. But, spend enough on my BlackBerry Plan. There is no way I can justify the added expense.
