thanks. | You only need to know the Enterprise Activation password if you wish to perform a wireless activation, or a intial activation - and yes, this password expires at an interval set on the BES.
If you install Blackberry Desktop Manager onto the PC that is setup with your firm's mail account ie. Exchange/Outlook, you will not need to know your BES Enterprise Activation password in order for you to switch devices.
Open your mail account, and Blackberry Desktop Manager, then connect your new Blackberry to your PCvia the USB cable. You will be prompted to associate the PIN of your new Blackberry, then the usual Enterprise Activation start, and your mail, Contact and Calendar info is pulled to your new device.
