Default privacy?

I installed the Google mail App on the blackberry that my company owns. Is this email encrypted so that network administrators cannot see it in the same way it is encrypted when i access my gmail through htttps protocol? Can they read the content of my messages? What about for my regular BES corporate email account? How easy is it for them to read those messages?

All BES messages can be checked / read. But, it takes time, and who's got that?

As for GMail, it's secure, and really nothing to worry about...

Nothing is really secure on the net. If you are truly worried about privacy, just stay off the company network. You know, it might not be a smart move to have your resume going out over your companies network and such.
