I need some help in persuading my workplace to buy me a Blackberry! I used to have one but they were all replaced with touch screen handsets. Even the best on screen key pads are not as quick and accurate as physical ones - I have tried multiple devices. My needs are:

1 Send a high volume of emails - so I need to type quickly and accurately
2 Small form factor
3 Decent battery life
4 Ability to open and use word, pdf and excel documents

To my mind a BB 9320 or a Bold running OS 7.1 would give me the wifi hotspot feature too. I have a BB 9105 for my own phone and it is a great handset.

Tell them that the physical keyboard improves the number of mails sent, thus improving your productivity!

Ah, and tell them to try and type a decent quantity of mails, daily, at a touch screen device!
