Default New BES user issue

Hi, have added a new user to a BES 4.1.7 server, adds in manager fine, set activation password as a but when trying to set up on the BB it keeps coming up email or password incorrect, have tried with another user in the domain with the same group permissions etc on the same phone and all is fine.

Have been over the permissions with a fine tooth comb and both users are the same, the user with the issue did not have besadmin in their security permissions but have added this and has not made a difference, am running out of ideas now as to what it could be, would i have to restart server after changing user permissions?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

Chris.

Hi, thanks for reply, have deleted the account and added again and does not make a difference, have not totally wiped the device but the device as is now works ok with other user accounts.

Have checked permissions using bes utility and all checks out fine.

Will be trying again tomorrow so will see how it goes.

Cheers.

Chris.

I like to use a simple password that doesn't use the number keys, like bb, just to make sure it's not a Shift error. Also, have you tried adding this account to a different BB?

just as an update have tried again, secure wiped the phone, re-added the user and still the same error, tried normal owa and this did not work either, owa for that user is fine through a web browser though?

Am not sure at all now what is the problem.

Chris.
