Need software suggestions for calendar apps.

I really like my Blackberry but as a long time Treo user I was spoiled to how quick and easy I could add events to the calendar. The Blackberry is not very user friendly in that area. I want to be able to pick a date and just start typing in an event without having to first select a time block and then having to go back to the address book to get an account......I need an app. out there that allows for fast data entry on the go.
