Smile Internet Browser - IT Policy

Hi,

Our IT department had a policy in place to disable the browser in our 8320's. I convinced them to allow access on things like mobile.southwest.com - he just told me that he had lifted the ban entirely. I've powered down, pulled the battery for 5 minutes, restarted, and I am still getting "Browser disabled by IT Policy" message when I try to go to the Southwest site.

Is there something else I need to do on my end? IT says they've lifted the ban....and the IT guy is out of the office for the week.

(if this should go in the Admin forum, I apologize, but I'm not an Admin for our BES)

When did he lift the ban? My BES pushes IT policy changes late in the evening. So if my admin makes a change today, it shows up on my BlackBerry overnight. Could that be what you're seeing as well?

Ah...yes, he lifted it for us earlier this afternoon. I'll take a look in the morning.

Thanks for the reply!

PS - great source of info here...this is my first BB since the change from Windoze Mobile...
