How do you use IT?
Part of my job here is to find a way to drive new business and expand on our business model. Our company is surviving right now, but I think we really have room to grow even in this economic climate. I have some marketing and research funds available to me, as well as the ability to leverage strategic partnerships with companies like IBM, HP, Cisco, Brocade, Oracle, Avnet, and more. The sky is the limit in terms of what I can do, if there is a serious opportunity there.
I know many people wont be able to answer this around here, but I come to you with a simple question.. How does your company use IT? What could be changed to improve your workflow? What are your current problems and pain points; in other words, what is holding you back from doing your job in the most efficient way possible?
