Question Help on my 8700c w/ Uncaught Exception Message

I use an 8700c blackberry and I am on my work Enterprise server. I started to receive the following message.

"Uncaught exception: process net_rim_bb_messaging_app (107) killed due to message queue overflow."

This appears after I try to go into my address book or email to compose an email -- then the BB freezes -- and I reboot. I have done a battery pull, pulled the SIM card and reinserted and started up again and then the above message appears. I hit okay and I can make phone calls as long as I go to the call screen and dial. I cannot phone or email without the BB freezing.

Should I just contact our IT folks? Any suggestions. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The message comes from the Sun Java engine and means an error has occured that is not being handled correctly.

That is something your IT guys should handle, it will likley require replacing the device OS. In fact, it is a simple process, but you know those IT guys.
