Help with Curve 8330 on BES
Hi there. First post here. I've just purchased one week ago the Curve 8330 to handle my work email, calendar, etc. This is my first blackberry so bear with me on my lack of knowledge.
Anywho, I had my phone set up on my small company's BES yesterday and had learned after that about the capabilities of IT/Business Owners monitoring my activities on the phone. What concerned/surprised me the most was the ability to log SMS and BB Messenger activity. My question to this is whether or not there's a way for me to determine whether that information is actually being monitored. Also, can I found out exactly what is being monitored on my phone?
Our BES has only been set up for 2 weeks or so, and there's only 2 other people on it, the two partners in my firm. Neither has the ability to actually go into the server to the best of my knowledge, but the outside IT company being used obviously does. I know that the options for SMS and BB Messenger are off by default but I would like to know if I'm being monitored. Not trying to hid anything but it is a little unsettling knowing that my personal communications are being monitored.
Any help that you could offer would be greatly appreciated!
