Expired certificate on Company OWA site
Hi all,
I am trying in vain(most likely) to get my work email on my Storm. We have an ISA server involved so the typical connect won't work. I am currently using Notifysync to connect via and activesync connection. This is working but an issue I have always had is a certificate warning that won't go away.
Before I started trying Notifysync, on the blackberry browser, when ever I go to the web mail site and try to log in, I get an expired certificate warning. I can go on but the warning keeps coming back. I can log in via Opera Mini and everything woks fine. I did not like the mail viewing via the browser so I started looking into Notifysync. Apparently, it sees something similar to the blackberry browser as I get 4 or more certificate warnings before it will sync. This is very annoying. I have talked to my IT people and they say our certificates are up to date. I called Verizon and they said it was because I was on BIS and switched me to a BES plan. I knew this would not work but the Verizon guy swore it would fix it because his BB expert said it would. Well it did not. Even if my employer would allow me on their BES I really don't want to pay $45 a month for it.
Is there any way to bypass this on the BB? Apparently all the Iphones in the office have no certificate issues with the active sync and I don't get the message on any of my home PC's.
Anyone run into this before?
Thanks
