Default Expandable memory

RIM's website for the 9700 features states that the microSD card can be used to "Create extra room for emails, messages". Is this true. Can corporate e-mails be stored to the microSD card now and not just the built-in flash mem?

I read that as meaning that you can store media (pics, music, vids) on the MicroSD, thus freeing up device memory for more email and message storage.

As far as I know, there's no way to store messages themselves onto the MicroSD card.

I agree with captain giggles, the memory card is for media only.

Many thanks. Makes sense and is consistent with RIMs previous offerings, although the wording is a bit deceiving.

Says right on their site. Create extra room for emails, messages, apps, mutimedia files, documents...
