Default Email in sent items just sitting at pending

Hi folks I have a quick question,

I have a user that is travelling at the moment and he can receive his emails on his BB but he cant send any it just says that they are "Pending". At first I thought that it might be a coverage problem but would I be right in thinking that it wouldn't be coverage as he is getting emails in? He is in Portugal at the moment and the Network we have signed up to is O2 UK as its the UK that we are based. The Network that he is connected to in Portugal is Vodafone.

has anyone had a problem like this before?

Yea, he is connected, roaming, to the network fine, but I am betting he doesn't have the proper service books fro Vodafone.

1. Tell him to remove the battery on the BB, while it is powered on, hold for 30 seconds, replace and reboot.

2. He may need to register with that network... Options > Advanced > HRT. Click on any line > Menu > Register now. He might need to do #1 again.
