Eliminating email notification and sound

I have several email accounts on my BB 7130e.

One of which gets alot of spam. I'd like to not get a notification everytime I receive an email to this account-- no sound or notification image in the top left. I would like to check this account from time to time.

Any help is appreciated.

How often do you want to check it? I would consider deleting the from BIS and checking online? Other wise you could just turn off lights and sound and let it receive mail and check when you want....

however.....this means the emails would still go to the messages inbox....

Yeah, I would scrap any email account that is getting that much spam. Or if you have a gmail account, forward it to the gmail one because Gmail has an awesome spam filter.
