Double emails on Blackberry when using categories in Outlook

I noticed that if I auto assign categories using rules in outlook (I am not moving or forwarding incoming emails, just assign a category), I will get those emails that get a category assigned twice on my Blackberry. I do not use BES, but BIS (to retrieve my emails from our exchange server).

It seems as if the message id of an email changes if a category gets assigned by an email.

Has anybody had the same experience? Is there a fix for this?

Actually I found out that using IMAP is not the way to go. Using OWA (Outlook Web Access) in combination with BIS works great. No more duplicates.
